About Us | Greener
The idea for Greener was born in 2018, rooted in a real-world experience that exposed deep challenges in Oman’s protein food supply market: price and quality fluctuations, numerous intermediaries, lack of direct access to primary sources, and significant product waste. As someone planning to open a restaurant, I didn’t just theorize about these issues—I lived them. Conversations with restaurant owners, suppliers, importers, and end buyers led me to a shared truth: the market needed a smart, transparent, and direct solution. That’s when Greener was born—a platform to connect producers and consumers directly, without intermediaries, complexity, or compromise on quality, sustainability, and transparency.
Initially, our focus was solving the supply chain issues for poultry and eggs, but we quickly realized the potential for much broader impact. Today, Greener is on a path to becoming a comprehensive supply, sales, recycling, and targeted consumption chain for poultry products. We offer services ranging from supplying core products to creating markets for secondary products and waste that can be transformed into economic value.
Greener champions small and local producers. We provide a simple, low-cost platform that enables these businesses to reach their target markets without needing expensive advertising or large capital investments. Through consulting services, specialized supply, technical support, and opportunities to monetize waste, we foster their sustainable growth.
